Jack P. Taylor

John “Jack” P. Taylor, age 75, of De Smet, SD, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at his residence.  A memorial celebration will be held on September 19, 2022, in Room A at the Coon Rapids Civic Center in Coon Rapids, MN, from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

Jack was born on August 21, 1947, in Minneapolis, MN, to Paul and Myrtle Taylor.

In 1964, Jack married Micki Doenges in Minneapolis, MN.  Micki sadly passed away in 1997.  In 2008, Jack married Mindy Allen in Las Vegas, NV.

Jack’s love for music led him to be a music salesman.  He played bass guitar in numerous bands for decades. He enjoyed boating, sailing, camping and being outside in the summer. Jack treasured every minute spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Mindy; daughters: Meredith Rogne and Christine Kimmes; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; step-daughters: Erica Ann Rohde and Michelle Collier; and sisters, Connie Meyer and Geri Elsberry.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Micki.
