Dannen Beskow

Dannen Dean Charles Beskow, age 44, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Faulkton Senior Living in Faulkton, SD.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown.  Pastor Steve Biswell will officiate.  Music will be provided by Kari Anderson as organist.  The service will be live-streamed via our website and Facebook live. 

Visitation will be at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. 

Pallbearers will be Kristin Ward, Kade Jewell, Dealon Ward, Mack Stroup, Cody Stroup, Preston Gagne, Derick Frasier, Jordan Frasier, Jordy Frasier, Jayda Frasier, Alex Frasier, Aryella Zoss, Teyvyeh Malcolm, and Taryn Burke.

Dannen was born on July 14, 1977, in Watertown, SD, to Duane and Verlaine (Christofferson) Beskow.  He attended school in Watertown, and graduated from Watertown High School.

He worked for many years at Perkins Restaurant in Watertown, as well as Sioux Valley Coop.

Dannen’s favorite TV shows were Dukes of Hazzard and the Golden Girls.  He got to meet his favorite actor, Tom Wopat from the Dukes of Hazzard, while sitting in the “General Lee”.  He enjoyed singing and listening to country music, telling jokes, flirting with all the girls, and playing bingo with his Mother.  Dannen loved his family, and cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews.

Dannen is survived by his brother, Darren Beskow, of Florence, SD; sisters: Debra Gagne, of Watertown, SD, Amie (Jayme) Frasier, of Faulkton, SD, and Jill Beskow, of Fayettville, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

Dannen was preceded in death by his parents, and niece, Codie Weyh.
