Cherryl Steffen-Cramer Obituary
Cherryl Ann Steffen-Cramer, age 76 of Watertown, SD passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2021 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Steve Biswell will officiate. The service will be Live-Streamed and Facebook Live via the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel website.
Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
Cherryl was born to Ormal & Lillian (Blinkman) Steffen on April 3rd, 1945, in Fairmont, MN. She graduated from Truman Public High School and Mankato Technical College. She married James William Cramer in October 1964 and again on June 2nd, 2001.
Cherryl loved to travel and enjoyed seeing all of the sights, as the driver or navigator with the atlas on her lap. Cherryl loved her family deeply and was always happy to spend time with them. She enjoyed making cards to send to family and friends, loved to putter in her yard, spending time outside, and enjoyed reading in her quiet time.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, James; daughters: Brenda (Dave) Rodestrom of Bloomington, MN, and Lisa Thompson of Dawson, MN. Stepsons: James (Jennifer) Cramer II of Wiggins, CO, and Dean (Lanette) Briley of Strasburg, CO; Daughter-in-Law, Ann Cramer of Wellfleet, NE. Two grandchildren: Samantha and Nick; step-grandchildren Anthony, Allie, James III, Sarah, Brooke & Brandon, and 2 step-great grandchildren: Avery and Jax. Siblings: Richard (Cathy) Steffen, Karen Asmus, Russ (JoAnne) Cramer, Linda (Bill) Benzick, Shelley (Sheldon) Benoy, Anita (Mike) Camelin, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-son, Troy Cramer.
Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers to Prairie Lakes Cancer Center or Hospice.
