Beverly J. Steinberg

Beverly “Bev” J. Steinberg, age 68, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Burial will be at Oldham Cemetery.

Beverly was born on November 22, 1952, in Moorhead, MN, to Willis and Emeline (Lehmann)Raethz.  She attended school in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead Tech. Following graduation, she was united in marriage to Lawrence “Sam” Klinnert.  The couple made their home in Fargo, ND, where Bev worked as a dispatcher for a  trucking company before moving to Rapid City, SD.  She then moved to Sioux Falls, SD, to help raise her grandchildren. Bev married Tim Steinberg and moved to Watertown, where they made their home.

She enjoyed crocheting, was an avid reader, and loved her dogs.

Bev is survived by her husband, Timothy, of Watertown, SD;  three daughters, Angela (Matt) Montgomery, of Sioux Falls, SD, Shiloe (Thor) Green, of Watertown, SD,  and Samantha (Mark Kortan) Klinnert of Tabor, SD; eight grandchildren, Braden, Kyle, Nathaniel, and Trevon Klinnert, Chase Montgomery, Raelynn, Ryker, and Dominic Green; one brother, Robert (Heidi) Raethz of Fargo, ND; two sisters, Bonnie (Mark) Scobey of Moorhead, MN, and Debbie (Robert) Novak of Oak Harbor, WA; and her ex-husband, Lawrence “Sam” Klinnert of Rapid City, SD.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents.
